Thank you to Mike Leonard of the Bay Winds North Band, and Lorain Francis, Executive Director of Rockland Maine Street, Inc. for offering to host Hall Day 2010 in Rockland!

We will officially announce our 2010 venue at Hall Day 2009 in Westbrook, but I can’t resist sharing Lorain’s email with you today 🙂    Colleen : Rockland would be delighted to host RB Hall day June 26, 2010 ! As Michael noted we have the perfect venue overlooking Rockland
Harbor with plenty of parking, food available close by and a park that can hold two stages. I spoke with our Harbormaster yesterday and he has reserved the date for you, and is very happy to use our park for a great musical event. It is my hope that you will announce Rockland as next years venue for RB Hall day !

Mr. Hall will be playing his 5 star cornet with the RB Hall Memorial Band (Waterville/Winslow/Oakland) at 11:00-11:30 am at Hall Day 2010! [see the schedule for the day via Hall Day 2010 Schedule in the right-hand sidebar]

A big thank you! goes out to the Waterville Historical Society and Redington Museum for trusting us with the Mr. Hall’s “Bangor 3 Star Cornet” in our remembrance of the Maine March King!

As well, thank you! to Jon Hall, Centennial Brass Band, for his loan of the vintage Chandler’s Band uniform that completes the illusion that Mr. Hall is actually in attendance of The Day!
